Newsletter Deadline Change
April 27, 2009
As everyone knows, Meredyth Waterman is moving from president-elect to president as of the annual meeting. As we also know, she has been faithfully editing our newsletter for two years. However, with her change in position within the church, she will no longer be able to edit the newsletter. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Meredyth for all the hard work and countless hours she has given to Bell Street Columns. Thanks also goes to Genevieve for her hard work on the layout.
Because Meredyth was so great at what she did, it is going to take not one, but two people to replace her. I will be taking over the editing, and Ellen Smith will be doing the proofing.
As this transition begins, we will need more time to complete the newsletter and beginning with next month’s newsletter (June) we will be moving the deadline for articles up a week. Beginning next month the deadline will be the second Sunday of the month, May 10. All articles will now be sent via e-mail to Richard Corso at RichardCorso@gmail.com. We appreciate your flexibility with this new deadline.
Both Ellen and I look forward to putting out the newsletter starting in June.
~Richard Corso
Attention: newsletter mailing list purge coming
January 27, 2009
Beginning next month, in an effort to save resources, Bell Street Chapel will stop mailing Bell Street Columns to friends and acquaintances (as opposed to members) of the church unless you request otherwise.
If you’re a friend of Bell Street and want to continue to receiving the newsletter, either by e-mail or snail mail, let us know. Please e-mail Membership Chairman Richard Corso at richardcorso@gmail.com.
If you opt not to subscribe, we hope that you’ll check our the newsletter (and other events, etc) on our Web site (www.bellstreetchapel.org) or consider becoming one of our “fans” on Facebook.

October 21, 2008
Bell Street Columns is completing its transition into the 21st century and is now e-mailed to Bell Street members and friends each month. If you currently receive our weekly announcements e-mail, you should be getting the newsletter by e-mail too. It is be sent as a .pdf file viewable with free Adobe reader software that most computers have, and you will be able to print it on regular size paper if you would like a hard copy.
In an effort to reduce our environmental impact and save trees, we ask that you consider opting out of having a copy mailed to your home if you get the e-mail and would read it that way. To opt out, please contact our office administrator, Heidi Gilkenson, at contact@bellstreetchapel.org or (401) 273-5678 and ask her to remove you from the newsletter mailing list. You will not stop receiving other mail from Bell Street. Please also contact Heidi if you are not currently receiving any e-mail from Bell Street and would like to do so. Thanks!

The deadline for the November issue of Bell Street Columns is Sunday, Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. Please limit each submission to 500 words (and shorter is better – our newsletter has been packed lately, and that’s good, but hard to lay out when stories are long) and e-mail as a Word attachment to newsletter editor Meredyth Waterman at MeredythW@aol.com.
