Reverend Margaret L. Weis | Minister
The Rev. Margaret L. Weis began her 3-year developmental ministry with Bell Street Chapel in August 2014.
She is a life-long Unitarian Universalist, having grown up at North Parish of North Andover, Massachusetts. Rev. Weis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Springfield College and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from UMASS Boston. She then served as a counselor at the Department of Veterans Affairs before following a life-long call to ministry.
Rev. Weis holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School. She served as the Intern Minister at First Parish of Watertown, MA and as a Hospital Chaplain at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Rev. Weis enjoys cycling, yoga, cooking, and spending time with her wife, Susan, who works for the Veterans Health Administration and serves in the United States Air Force Reserve. They have two rescue dogs, Checkers and Lela.
Rev. Weis is passionate about social justice, community involvement, and broadening Unitarian Universalism beyond the walls of the congregation and into the lives of the people of Providence and the world.

Thursdays 10a-1p at Parish office (please call ahead to make sure she is available)
