Religious Education

Religious Education gives our children a chance to learn about our Unitarian Universalist faith and discuss important spiritual ideas.

We have an enthusiastic group of children and teachers for the 2009-2010 church year. We will have a variety of programming during the year with something offered almost every Sunday.  At this time child care is offered for the youngest children, some Sundays have intergenerational services and most other Sundays there is a single class for elementary age children. There are always two adults in the class so if there is a wide age range present, we will have two activities in the same room with one adult for each activity. Here is the schedule for December and January:

Dec 6       Second UU Principle with Kate and Ray

Dec 13     The Christmas Story and the Hanukah Story with Kate and Bruce

Dec 20     Intergenerational Holiday Service

Dec 27     RE Break - no program

Jan 3        RE Break - no program

If you would like more information, please speak with Kate Gillis, Chair of the Religious Education Committee on any Sunday morning.  You can also send an email using the “Contact Us” link on this web page.
